1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, password hash.

Invoice data: Client names, email addresses, invoice amounts, due dates, and payment status that you enter.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address, device information.

Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): To provide the InvoiceRemind service.

Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): To improve the service and ensure security.

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): For marketing communications (withdrawable at any time).

4. How We Use Your Data

To provide the service, send payment reminders on your behalf, process payments, send service communications, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with GDPR-compliant processors: Stripe (payments), Brevo (email delivery), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting). We never sell personal data.

6. International Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. After deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where required by law (up to 7 years for financial records).

8. Your Rights (GDPR Art. 15–22)

You have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. Contact support@invoiceremind.com to exercise these rights. We respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies only (authentication, session management) and Vercel Analytics for anonymized statistics. No advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Security

We implement HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data.

11. Supervisory Authority

You may lodge complaints with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee) or your local supervisory authority.

12. Changes

Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
